Blood Sugar Balancing Matcha

Balancing blood sugar is the first thing I think of when I create a meal, or even my morning bevy. It’s that impactful on how we feel, creating more even energy, focus and balanced mood. I’ve learned to create the most nourishing morning matcha that meets everything the body needs for balanced blood sugar, and it tastes delicious.


INGREDIENTS


Adrenal Tonic

Serves 1

1/2 tsp ceremony grade matcha

10 oz water, heated to 175

2 tsp cashew butter *see notes

1 serving of collagen

1 serving of acacia fiber

1/2 tsp mushroom powders (optional)

1/2 tsp ceylon cinnamon (optional)


METHOD


Combine everything in a blender and give it a whirl on high until foamy. Be mindful of the top so that hot water doesn’t burn you.

I most often use my cashew creamer for this recipe instead of cashew butter but not everyone wants to make cashew milk. The cashew butter is my back up for when I’m out but is also really lovely. If you prefer a slight sweetness, add half a date.
